A pixel-streamed automotive experience for exploring the Outlander PHEV, configuring the vehicle, and moving shoppers toward dealership discovery.
Project Overview
Mitsubishi Motors Canada needed a smarter way to educate buyers on the Outlander PHEV. This interactive education and sales tool goes well beyond a standard configurator: it is built to explain the vehicle's technology, not just display colors and trim.
Built from Mitsubishi's own CAD data for exceptional accuracy, the pixel-streamed Unreal Engine experience lets users explore the drivetrain, understand how the charging system works, see how features interact, and configure their ideal vehicle across trims, colors, and options. Shoppers can capture and share images on social media, driving organic engagement. It currently supports the 2024 and 2025 Outlander PHEV and is built to grow with Mitsubishi's broader Canadian lineup.
My Contribution
Role: Lead Technical Artist.
I built and owned the entire system, website, and UI/UX for the experience.
Outcome
Mitsubishi Canada gained a sales and education tool that works outside the dealership, online and across devices, so buyers arrive better informed and in-person conversations are more productive. As more models are added the platform extends rather than rebuilds, increasing traction into the Find a Dealership flow.
